We pulled into Tulsa, Oklahoma to see my best friend from fifth and sixth grade. Gail and I hadn't seen each other for thirty-three years! If anyone can top that, I'd like to know! Naturally, neither one of us had changed a bit. ;-) Did we get caught up? Of course not. But boy, was it great to see each other.
And it was fun to meet her three grown sons and family at the family barbeque. When we left, I took with me some of Gail's very own homemade kefir curds. I'm really hoping they will survive one month in our cooler so that we can forever enjoy her Oklahoma kefir back home in California! Thanks, Gail, for a wonderful time!
